Hi, I'm Aashima :)
I'm an AI/ML Engineer with 1.5 years of experience in Generative AI, NLP, Machine Learning, and Data. I hold an MS in Business Analytics from NTU Singapore and a BS in Computing and Software Systems from University of Melbourne.
I currently work as an AI Engineer Intern at HEINEKEN, developing and productionising a marketing AI product with LLMs, image models, and agents into scalable solutions. Previously, I built productionised NLP/ML systems at CSIRO (Australian Govt Research Org) for cyberbullying detection and automated ML pipelines. My data experience spans COVID-19 impact research at IIT Bombay and climate analytics dashboards at NTU. I'm seeking AI/ML Engineer opportunities to continue building innovative solutions.
Apart from work, I'm an avid F1 fan - my weekend mood depends on Carlos Sainz's performance! I'm also competitive and enjoy board games like Monopoly, Exploding Kittens, and Uno, plus sports like badminton and football.

AI ENGINEER INTERN, HEINEKEN
MAR 25' - PRESENT- Co-built GenAI components for comprehensive AI marketing product using LLMs (Azure OpenAI), image generation models (Flux, Stable Diffusion via ComfyUI, Hugging Face), and multi-agent systems (LangChain, CrewAI, Atomic Agents) with finetuning on Heineken-branded datasets.
- Developed scalable GenAI infrastructure by converting Python workflows into FastAPI microservices, containerizing with Docker, and implementing input/output validation using Pydantic and Instructor for the marketing product.
- Designed agentic system architecture from ground-up including agent orchestration, custom tools, memory management, and observability logging for autonomous AI workflows within the marketing product.
- Led cross-functional collaboration and infrastructure acquisition as technical bridge between Product/Engineering teams, managing JIRA task allocation, Confluence documentation, and coordinating infrastructure needs while presenting feasibility studies to APAC CIO and Global HQ stakeholders.
- Delivered technical prototypes and demos using Gradio and Streamlit to showcase GenAI API functionality for the marketing product, while coordinating with Senior AI Engineers, Backend/Frontend teams, DevOps, and Lab Leadership on integration requirements.
